Stouffville

Stouffville is the largest population base in the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville and is surrounded by farmland and conservation land. It’s well-known for its vibrant and historic downtown along Main Street, which is lined with heritage houses and century old commercial buildings that look like they are straight out of a movie set. There are lots of shops and restaurants to choose from in town. This is a well-rounded family-oriented community with outstanding sports and arts facilities. It is surprisingly convenient for commuters who can easily access the Go Train station off Main Street and take the train all the way to Union Station in downtown Toronto. Stouffville’s housing stock dates back to the 1880s and features grand Victorian and Edwardian homes as well as Arts and Crafts style homes from the early 1900s, in addition to many new townhomes, semi-detached homes, detached homes and low-rise condominiums.

Convenience and Culture

Stouffville is often referred to as “country close to the city”. It is surrounded by farmland and conservation land. There is a GO Train Station right downtown which makes for any easy commute to Downtown Toronto. There are many fine restaurants in Stouffville, along with one-of-a-kind shops, local pubs and cafés. The Lebovic Centre for Arts & Entertainment hosts concerts, comedy shows, film screens and much more. This town has so much to offer.

Recreation

The newly-renovated Leisure Centre includes a library, fitness centre, indoor pool and gymnastics. It is also the home of the Latcham Gallery, a free public art gallery. Enjoy the free air at one of Stouffvilles many community gardens, parks, golf clubs, and equestrian centres. Sunnyridge Park is the home of the Edible Tree Program where you can make use of the space to enjoy the outdoor fitness equipment and nourish yourself with an apple or pear organically grown right there in the park. Schools

Stouvffille is home to some of the most highly-ranked schools in Ontario. The schools that serve these communities offer English, French, French Immersion, or Catholic curriculums. Getting Around

The town of Whitchurch-Stouffville is approximately 50 kms north of downtown Toronto and located in York Region. If travelling by car, you’ll love the convenience of toll-highway 407 https://www.on407.ca/en/index.html which is an 11km (12 minutes) drive from the heart of Stouffville, or 11 KM to Highway 404.
